QA Automation Engineer


In the role of QA Automation Engineer you will have the opportunity to contribute to our suite of software offerings. We are an agile development team with close collaboration across development, quality assurance, documentation, and project management.

Your job as a QA Automation Engineer

  • Be on a constant search for gaps, initiate possible solutions and implement them;
  • Help others to resolve automation challenges;
  • Should be process oriented and drive it among teams;
  • Set coding standards and guidelines for the automation team to follow;
  • Drive scoping, planning, executing & monitoring test activities across scrum teams;
  • Design and implement Automation tests to increase testing on our platform;
  • Maintain and improve our existing frameworks, architecture and infrastructure for web platforms;
  • Own the testing in one or more specific areas and drive continuous improvement and innovation in test coverage and test effectiveness;
  • Help build and maintain the CI/CD environments;
  • Be a strong quality advocate, collaborating closely with software engineers, designers, product owners and product managers to release revolutionary products;
  • Pair with software engineers to identify and prevent gaps with automation/regression coverage.

Wie jij bent

Who you are:

  • Minimum of three years of solid experience as a QA Automation Engineer;
  • Experience with Mac OS and Linux is a requirement;
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in agile development environments
  • Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies including, but not limited to, Cucumber, Concordion, Selenium, Fit/FitNesse, SoapUI;
  • Proficient with bug tracking and test management toolsets to support development processes;
  • Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as ISTQB, TDD & BDD;
  • Results oriented with excellent problem solving abilities;
  • Dynamic team member who can share ideas and is innovative;
  • You are living in the Netherlands (permit to work in the Netherlands);
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written and Dutch is a nice to have.
